Status Report: This has happened so far

At Neomosaic, the situation is the same, but the mood is increasing! In practice, this means that we are still working on the prototype, but we are already seeing the end of the tunnel! The next challenge is to extend this to other shapes, such as a circle or our favorite, the uterine lattice structure. The circle drawing function is very exciting because it allows us to cut out any complete shape, be it an animal, a human, an object, or even a concept. Okay, we're still working on the latter, but we've put the molds to the test with success!

What's unique about the Neomosaic project is that the current squaring is different from the methods used in the industry, because we calculate that the image is a which color is closest to that part of the color palette that the user selects. We plan that in the future our palette will also include the basic solution that others are working on, but for the first time, the focus was on creating a unique calculation method. We also want to be unique in terms of colors, if all goes well, we will be able to cover the full Pantone range! we also have good news, as we have now managed to move the two robot arms entirely with our own software, so we are absolutely able to take advantage of what they are physically capable of! Another task here is to coordinate the movement of the two arms, for which we need to optimize the path and range of motion of the arms without disturbing the other arm. This doesnโ€™t seem easy at first glance, and it really poses serious challenges for us, as due to the physical properties of the engines, a movement always ends a little differently. And these differences of a few millimeters add up over a longer period of time and can cause significant problems. Thus, this stage of development, the elimination of these seemingly nuanced discrepancies, is essential for the later successful operation, and for the finer to make small tiles.

we can cut quite massive materials with it, there is only one last fine tuning left. We hope to be able to try other materials to test their combined effects, such as plastic, glass, wood. the journey made and the way left! A couple of weeks and we'll update, in the meantime, a few photos of the current state!
